Theology and Culture is my web-log (blog) in which I write about theological truths, American culture, and the intersection of the two.  I believe that as Christians, God has called us to engage the culture and examine the philosophies of the day through the lens of a Christian worldview, for the purpose of growing in understanding of biblical truths, and being able to point others to that truth.  With this blog, I will attempt to do just that.

Grace and peace!

P.S. I am not a pastor or a theologian.  I am a layperson who likes to study theology and watch TV, so I decided to write about those things.  This is a very informal blog geared towards a very small, very specific group of people (just me, I’m pretty sure).  So if you’re angry about the things I write about or you disagree with a point I make, feel free to lovingly share that with me, but also keep in mind that I am not a pastor or a writer (if I were a writer I probably would have said “nor a writer”), and you are not being forced to read this. Thanks.
